mce trial version has expired

MCE - "Trial Version has Expired" ???

Had this in Build 5231, now just installed 5270 & it still remains.
Basic question ... Why?
Is MCE a secret that only the privileged can test? ... Don't understand the logic here ...
I really would like to test this functionality ... Is it possible for a TechNet subscriber to play with this?
TIA, RK

There is an update for this on the MSDN Download site.

How does a TechNet subscriber gain access to the update?

We have to wait until the Service Pack or Security Update CD's come through the post ;o)

Does anybody know the logic why MCE is locked out?
DRM is not complete? Has to be a reason ... without knowing why, it makes no sense to me.

Great, Thank you very much, Neil ...
I probably got lazy and should have Googled it myself, but my initial reaction was to post in the group.
Thanks again, RK

You should have gotten an MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscription instead of a TechNet Plus Subscription (We get quicker access to all of the New CTP Builds from our MSDN Subscriber Downloads Homepage instead of having to wait for it to come in the Mail). The only downside is the following: Because we have access to the Windows Vista Beta download's, Microsoft doesn't send us the CTP DVD's in the mail (We only get the Major Milestone's like Beta 1, for example, in the mail).

I have TechNet for other reasons, not just for the Vista Beta.
