I have this feeling it may be a DirectX issue, as I understand MCE uses DirectX to draw the image to the screen, whereas the PVR250's native capture software 'WinTV' does not. Everything worked fine until the trial expired and since then I have received this error message. I have tried installing Cyberlink's Power DVD which I have downloaded the Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility and the Cyberlink decoder is the preferred decoder and has a green tick for being MCE compatible.

The error message comes immediately when I try to start Media Center. MC stops loading immediately. I will contact Cyberpower as well - when they wake up.
